Meet The Soloists

Tenor
Glenn Marble
Raised in Downey CA by two teacher parents, Glenn grew up in a musical family with four older sisters. He found music healing and began with voice lessons throughout his young life.
Along with exposure to cello, trombone, and tuba in orchestra and band, Glenn's love for choral music came while singing tenor with his dad in church choir.
Glenn hass performed with the Kent-Meridian Jazz Band at the Seattle Opera House, placed first in singing competition on Korean TV during his mission to Seoul South Korea, and graduated from BYU's School of Music in 1993 with an emphasis in Sound Recording, before moving to Nashville.
Glenn currently enjoys being music coordinator at church. Since joining the NvCC in 2013, Glenn has found immense joy in challenging choir music and today he operates his home studio owner in hopes to release his own compositions.

Tenor / Bass
Scott Owens
Scott has been a member of the choir since 2013 due to the urging of his wife, Angie Owens, but sang in Handel's Messiah as a teenager with the co-founders Norman & Marilyn Tolk, years before the choir was officially organized as a nonprofit organization. In school Scott was heavily involved in band but has always loved to sing recreationally. He serves as thc choir's membership choir, but supports his wife in her role as President with whatever extras she needs. This is Scott's second season as a bass soloist for Handel's Messiah.

Bass / Tenor
David Kinman
David began his musical career singing alongside his family in the small farm town of Madison, Indiana. He then attended Indiana University studying music as an Opera Vocal Performance major. David sang with various musicians traveling the North and South islands of New Zealand providing inspirational messages for various cultural groups. David has performed background vocals in many studio sessions throughout Middle Tennessee and is currently employed as a high school administrator.

Soprano
Kimberly Hamilton
A Jamaican-born classically trained singer whose powerful voice and unique artistry have earned her acclaim on both national and international stages. With a background rooted in Jamaica's rich musical heritage, she began her formal training at a young age, studying classical and contemporary vocal techniques and music theory. Her journey led her to the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts, where she honed her craft and developed a deep understanding of classical and operatic styles. With a voice that resonates deeply with audiences, Kimberley continues to build a legacy as a versatile, and dynamic force in the world of music.

Alto
Janna Landry
Janna Landry is an accomplished vocalist, professional actor, keynote speaker and author. She holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance and has studied the voice extensively. Throughout her career in the entertainment industry she has a long list of production credits in theatre, television, and the music industry both recorded and live. She has sung in hundreds of clubs and theaters all over the country.
She enjoys singing everything from Americana to Jazz to Classical voice and can be heard on many studio tracks in various styles. Her Americana CD "You Shoulda Picked Me" is her legacy as a song-writer. She holds memberships in SAG, AFTRA, and AEA performing unions. She has taught private voice for over 25 years and continues to perform around town singing jazz and as a member of the popular Toto Tribute Band, "Child's Anthem". Janna recently published her first book, “Dazzle Your Listener” on the art of communication.

Sarah Lecuyer
Sarah Lecuyer has enjoyed singing and performing since early childhood and has participated in a myriad of choirs and musical theater productions throughout her life. After discovering the Nashville Community Choir, she has enjoyed the past three years singing with this group of caring and talented choir-family and looks forward to its future projects.

Soprano
Angie Owens
Nothing brings Angie more joy than singing, especially sacred music. She graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho studying Communications, but was heavily involved in the music program. She served as a full-time missionary in the Tennessee Nashville Mission from 2007-2008 where she fell in love with the area and its community and permanently made it her home in 2009. In 2011 as a young new mom she discovered Nashville Community Choir and never looked back. It has become like a second family. In 2020 she stepped in as the choir's President and currently juggles that with her role as a small business owner, wife and mother of six young arts-involved children. Angie and her husband Scott both serve in music-related church callings and raise their large family in Murfreesboro.

Heather Rains
This is Heather's first time performing as a soloist with the Nashville Community Choir. Although choral music is her ultimate love, she also has experience in musical theater as a performer, director, and choreographer. She currently directs a volunteer choir in her local church congregation and serves as Soprano Section Leader in the Nashville Community Choir. She enjoys life as a wife and mother to four beautiful children.

Rodger Olsen
Rodger Olsen is originally from Utah. After a few years in Oklahoma, he and his family moved to Murfreesboro TN 10 years ago. Rodger is an accountant by trade with over 20 years of experience. He has worked in construction, oil and gas and, currently healthcare industries. Rodger’s professional experience has mainly focused on continuous financial and operational improvement identification, implementation and monitoring and measuring project outcomes.
In addition to his professional expertise, Rodger served a two year teaching mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Outside of work, he is passionate about anything his 3 girls love doing, except painting his nails and coloring his hair. Rodger also loves to lift heavy things and serve others.
